How to Measure

Wear your best fitting bra.  You may find it helpful to have a second person help you measure.  Or you may just want to stand in front a mirror and measure yourself.

Step 1: find your band size

Measure around your chest, just below your underarms, with a tape measure.  Measure snugly but not tightly.  THe number you get is your band size.

Step 2: find your bust measurement

Take a loose measurement around the fullest part of your bust.

Step 3: find your cup size

Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement.  Then use this simple bra size chart to find your cup size.

Example: If your bust measurement is 39 and your band size is 36:

39 -  36 = 3, so your cup size is C, and your complete bra size is 36C.

1.  Take a Band Measurement:

Take a snug measurement around your rib cage, under your bust and shoulder blades.

Add 5 inches.

Example: 40" + 5" = 45"

2. Determine Even Band Size:

If you get an even number in step 1, this is your Band Size.

If you get an odd number in step 1 (like 45), round up one (to 46) to get your Band Size.  Example: 45" + 1 = 46"

3. Bust Measurement:

Take a loose measurement around the fullest part of your bust.

Example: 50"

4. Determine Cup Size:

Subtract Band Measurement (from step 1) from Bust Measurement (from step 3).

Example: 50" - 45" = 5"

Use the chart below to determine your Cup Size:

Example: 5" = DD Cup
